Vagaggini wrote Eucharist Prayers III and IV (the early draft of which are found in this book) for the Roman RIte as a result. Consequenlty, I am suspicious that this book will be starting from the same faulty foundation.James Ignatius McAuleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16170178446627560622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2784015174011139.post-36704952204333349632013-12-20T15:54:05.209-05:002013-12-20T15:54:05.209-05:00English translation please!English translation please!Fr. The result is that what God is to the soul the soul becomes to the body, and the one God, Creator of all, is shown to reside proportionately in all beings through human nature. Things that are by nature separated from one another return to a unity as they converge together in the one human being. When this happens God will be all in all ( I Cor. 15:28), permeating all things and at the same time giving independent existence to all things in himself. Then no existing thing will wander aimlessly or be deprived of God’s presence... In my early 20s (in the early 80s), I was attending a large church in Ottawa, prominent in the history of fundamentalism, through which many people flowed due to the transience of university life and government work. My peers who had grown up in that congregation had, for a variety of reasons good and bad, a cohesion that was sometimes experienced as a clique. But it only took one week until there was someone looking to be a part of things more recent than me. In very little time, by turning toward each other, we reached critical mass and contributed new energy and vision to the congregation. One of our greatest assets is that we lacked the history of the cradle congregants.Larry Greganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14060963195168622781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2784015174011139.post-4564233356100166662013-09-24T14:31:22.228-04:002013-09-24T14:31:22.228-04:00Dr. DeVille,

It seems clear to me that part of why synodality in the East has not led to rampant doctrinal chaos is the "sociological" situation of many of these churches--persecuted first by Islam and then by communism, or otherwise in isolated, culturally homogenous countries relatively untouched by the "acids of modernity."
